Zack A. Knight — Veteran Leadership Authority, Keynote Speaker & Author
Veteran · Leader · Builder

The mission didn't end. Nobody built what comes after.

The military gave you a mission, a team, and a standard — then handed you a DD-214 and called it a transition. I'm Zack A. Knight: Bronze Star recipient, founder of ATLVets, and the person who builds the leadership systems service members need after the uniform comes off. I help organizations and audiences turn military-forged purpose into civilian-scale execution.

Built in service. Sharpened in business.

Zack A. Knight spent his career on the line — as a metro-Atlanta SWAT operator, then as an Army infantry officer who earned the Bronze Star leading soldiers downrange.

Medically retired at 34, he hit the same wall thousands of high-performing veterans hit: a decade of mission, team, and standard — gone overnight, with no system to replace it. So he built one.

Today Zack is the founder and CEO of ATLVets, a veteran leadership institute that served more than 16,000 veterans and families in 2025. He co-founded Patriot Growth Capital, a private equity firm investing in the defense and national-security economy, manages Knight Purpose Partners, and leads the next generation of national-security leaders through BENS (Business Executives for National Security). He is a member of Leadership Atlanta's Class of 2027, completing his Doctorate in Strategic Leadership, and writing his second book, Legacy of Leadership.

He speaks to executives, corporations, and veteran audiences about the one thing the military forgot to teach: how to lead yourself when nobody assigns the mission anymore.

The company he keeps

ATLVets doesn't book green-room celebrities — it convenes the leaders who actually shaped national security and the veteran movement. Zack hosts them on stage, in conversation, in front of the audiences who need to hear them.
